OUR STORY

For 25 years, Muddy Burns has been a much-loved roadside pub, restaurant and shop on the Sligo Road, run by Mark and Majella Carr with warmth, consistency and genuine Irish hospitality. It is the kind of place locals return to again and again, and one that visitors passing through to Enniscrone, Sligo, Ballina and beyond are glad they found.

Known for its warm atmosphere, traditional Irish character and seasonally changing menu, Muddy Burns brings together good food, friendly service and the comfort of a place that feels established and welcoming. From the fire lit on colder days to the outdoor space and children’s play area in finer weather, it offers that mix of ease and atmosphere people remember.

Whether people are stopping in for a meal, calling to the shop and deli, meeting family for lunch or settling in for Sunday trad music, Muddy Burns has built its reputation over 25 years as a place of good food, warm welcomes and familiar faces.
